The Linguarus Translation Agency also provides court-certified translations in various language combinations thanks to a successful collaboration with certified court interpreters, appointed by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia. This title requires a specialized training and passing a proficiency examination.
Court-certified translations cannot be sent via email, they can only be picked up in person or delivered by registered mail. Such translations are physically bound to the original document with a string and bear the seal of the certified court interpreter. Court-certified translations can only be made by specially trained court interpreters, who attest that the translation is true, complete, and accurate with their certification seal.
We recommend that you check with the organization for which the translation is intended whether they require a court-certified translation. These can only be performed by court interpreters. The price of our service will depend on the type of translation requested.
If the certified translation cannot be made directly from one language to another (e.g. from Swedish to Ukrainian), it will be provided through Slovenian (e.g. Swedish to Slovenian and Slovenian to Ukrainian) where possible. In this case, each translation is certified separately. Accordingly, the price of such an indirect translation will be increased by the price for the intermediate language combination.
